We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to manage and deliver our FFP3 Resilience Service; this encompasses the central mask fit testing service, providing advice, guidance and support to staff at all levels across the Trust and leading on the fit tester training programmes.

You will join our Health & Safety Services Department, which is a small group of passionate and enthusiastic specialist advisers and trainers who advise and support the Trust to keep its staff safe whilst at work. There are three key services in the department; Health & Safety, Moving & Handling and FFP3 Resilience. We work Monday to Friday during core business hours (8am to 5pm), with some occasional out-of-hours working and training.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Main Responsibilities�

? � �Act as the competent person and role model for fit testing and fit tester training, providing advice and guidance to all managers and staff within the Trust on the safe fitting and use of FFP3 respirators.�
? � �Responsible for organising and delivering the Trust?s central fit testing service.
? � �Responsible for developing, organising and delivering fit tester training programmes. �
? � �Work across SGH and PAH sites and be able to travel to satellite sites as required. ��
? � �Manage the trust-wide databases for FFP3 face fit tests and fit tester training.
? � �Contribute to reports for Divisional Governance teams, Corporate H&S Committee (CHSC) and Trust Executive Committee (TEC).�
? � �Advise and support the Head of H&S Services to develop the Trust?s FFP3 resilience strategy.
